Security of Reports

Firewalls
A secure firewall is in place to prevent unauthorized access to the DTI Network. DTI uses Windows NT integrated security with a proxy and firewall to the Internet and has a firewall in place to protect dial-in phone lines.

Virus Protection
DTI runs several virus protection programs in the background at all times on the DTI HUB servers. The virus checkers are updated regularly.

Encryption
All voice and data transmissions that travel beyond the walls of the healthcare facility onto the DTI Network are moved across a dedicated private network or encrypted for security and confidentiality purposes
